Stadin AO to Special School: 2 Months of Growth, Aug–Sept 2025

Life rarely unfolds as we plan. It often opens in ways we could not imagine, placing us exactly where we need to be.

In early August, TE Office unexpectedly introduced me to a program at Stadin AO — an orientation in pedagogy for immigrant teachers (Maahan muuttaneiden pedagogien orientaatio perusopetukseen.)

At first, I hesitated. The requirements clearly asked for degrees or certificates in pedagogy or related fields. I had none. All I carried was my academic background, my experience tutoring, my years of study, and my deep desire to one day become a teacher.

Still, I chose to show up. I decided to give my best, focusing on my Finnish language skills and sharing openly my experience and determination. And in that moment, a door opened.

Growth doesn’t always roar. Sometimes, it whispers through every step we show up for.

A quiet school path surrounded by early autumn trees and light. Subtle symbols of growth like notebooks and plant shoots reflect a journey of learning and becoming.

🌸 The First Door: Stadin AO

I was accepted into the program. That moment taught me a truth Louise Hay captured in You Can Heal Your Life:

I am open and receptive to new avenues of income and learning.

I had been open. I had been receptive. And life responded. The beginning of Stadin AO was not simply about studying pedagogy. It was about honouring the fact that I belonged here — even without the conventional certificates. My presence, my effort, and my willingness were enough.ficates. My presence, my effort, and my willingness were enough.

🌌 One Month of Study: Inner and Outer Lessons

Over the past month, the journey has carried me through two layers of lessons:

Outer layer: pedagogy, assignments, schedules, new concepts.
Inner layer: patience, sensitivity, and resilience.

Some days I was uncertain. Some days I wondered if I was enough.
But then I remembered Neville Goddard’s words in The Power of Awareness:

Change your conception of yourself and you will automatically change the world in which you live.

I began to hold myself not as the one without a certificate, but as the one who is becoming. And the classroom shifted with me.

🌱 The Next Chapter: A Special Education Path

Now, as September comes to a close, I am stepping into a special education environment where learning happens beyond words. Out of many classmates — many with certificates and experience — I was chosen.

At first, I asked: Why me?
But then I saw the connection.
Last year, I wrote a paper on dyslexia, autism, depression, and ADHD through the lens of neuroscience. That seed was planted long before this moment. This new path is the soil where it begins to grow.

Joseph Murphy, in The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, reminds us:

Your subconscious mind is a recording machine which reproduces your habitual thinking. Think good of others, and you are actually thinking good about yourself.

So I choose to think good — of myself, my journey, and the unfolding of what comes next.

🌕 Reflections

Looking back over these two months, I see how much has opened:

  • From TE Office’s unexpected suggestion,
  • To my acceptance into Stadin AO,
  • To a full month of study and a new name on my Finnish ID,
  • To this next step in special education.

This is what healing looks like: trusting the openings, even when we feel unqualified.
This is what manifesting feels like: flowing, not forcing.

✨ Closing Affirmations

I trust the flow of life.
I am guided, supported, and aligned.
Every ending becomes a new beginning,
and I walk forward with ease.
