There was a season in my life when I was not a single mom —but in every way that mattered,
I was a solo mother,
a solo parent,
a solo partner.
My husband worked far from home.
And while love was never absent, presence often was.

I raised our child alone.
I studied. I interned. I cooked.
I handled emotions
— mine and my child’s.
I held the home together
with quiet strength,
without recognition,
without rest.
And I did it all not for applause,
but because life asked me to
— and I said yes.
🌸 I questioned if …
But here’s what I never said out loud: There were days I ran out of energy, out of time. Sometimes even out of the softness I wanted to give myself.
I watched others, seemingly in similar situations, live with a kind of ease I never felt allowed to have.
Smiles, outings, photos — while I counted coins and saved leftovers.
They laughed in lightness, and I questioned if I was bitter.
But I wasn’t bitter.
I was tired.
I was carrying.
I was becoming.
🕯️ And I whisper to Her Inner Child
Today,
I do not look back with blame.
I do not look back with guilt.
I do not question the paths others chose.
Instead, I do something sacred:
I return to the woman I was —
the one who mothered alone without the title,
who gave silently, fully, and fiercely.
And I whisper to her inner child:
You were never wrong to feel tired.
You were never too much or not enough.
You were simply doing your best
— and I see you now.
🧘🏻♀️ I no Longer Needed to Prove
This is not a story of comparison.
It is a story of reclamation.
Of taking back the moments
that were overlooked.
Of blessing the parts of myself
I once ignored.
Of saying:
You mattered.
Your work mattered.
And I thank You.
Because from that place of truth, a quiet kind of growth began to emerge. I no longer needed to explain. I simply evolved.
I no longer needed to prove. I simply lived more honestly. And slowly, that solo mother, solo partner, solo parent became a whole woman.
Rooted. Clear. Gentle. Strong.
🌱 And still becoming!
📚 Book Companion for this Journey
I warmly recommend “You Can Heal Your Life” by Louise Hay.
Her gentle yet powerful voice helps reconnect with self-love, release guilt, and recognize the patterns we carry — even the hidden ones from motherhood, survival, or silence.
If you’ve ever felt unseen, this book will remind you: you have the power to transform your inner world.
“You Can Heal Your Life” by Louise Hay
A foundational book in my journey — one that I return to again and again.

💌 Soul Retreat – A Blessing for You and Me
I forgive the parts of me that had to survive without rest.
I honor the woman who carried more than anyone knew.
I embrace the child within me who just wanted to be seen and safe.
I release the stories that no longer belong to my becoming.
I welcome ease, support, and authentic connection.
I trust my journey, my timing, and my truth.
I am growing, and it is enough.
✨ May this post meet you gently, if you too have walked a road unseen. May it affirm the silent strength in your story. And may it remind us both: ✨
Healing is not a destination.
Growth is not loud.
Sometimes, it begins when you simply say:
“I see you.
I thank you.
I release you.”I bless the woman I was — for she carried me home to the woman I now am.
If this reflection met a quiet part of you, stay for the next chapter. The journey continues.
With love and grace,
Hoa Rompasaari
